I used to be a morning person. More than happy to wake up before or with the sun, jump out of bed and get going type of person. With the occasional morning spent lounging in bed till maybe 9. Now, I would much rather hit the snooze. Push off the act of getting out of bed until I'm damn good and ready. (Which would be closer to around 10 or so.) But have to go out and make the almighty dollar (isn't that in a song somwhere?). Yay work. Yay being an adult and spending money I don't have through the miracle of credit. Yay responsibility. Yay, yay, yay.
Enough whining. Got to kick the cat off my lap (who is making it very difficult to type without hunting and pecking) and shower and get coffee (mmmmmmmm) and marvel at the scenery (snow covered trees and an icy river) on the way to work. Yay New England!
All this motivational Yay reminds me of a "cheer" my father taught me when I was probably younger than I should have known it.
"Rah Rah Ree, kick 'em in the knee. Rah Rah Rass, kick 'em in the other knee."
Ahh, parenthood.
