Senobio Nila turned 105 on May 4. There are plenty of people who have lived for more than 100 years, and each has seen events that the rest of us only read about in text books. But Senobio has a particular place and event tied to his existence; kind of like being the last WWII soldier alive.
At 91 my grandmother is tired and doesn't like to think of how many more weeks of laundry she would have to do between now and 97. But the way she's going she just might make it.
